Just like the title says. I remembered the ancient little Quest for Glory games that came out on the 386s, and realized they were actually awesome. So my dad kindly paid four bucks so we could download it, and a bunch of other old awesome games (theme hospital!) and spent a while trying to get them to work. (more…)

Being the adventurous type, I set out on a noble quest to acquire a ringtone for my crappy budget cell phone. I came upon a site called YourMob.com (mobe? or mob?) which would “cell” (ha ha) me a ringtone for only 99 cents plus the cost of the text (8 billion dollars) and a lot of thumbbreaking work. (more…)

PHP- Luckily, one of my friends owns a free hosting site, which he apparently got in a trade for a PHP script, as he’s an uber-1337 haXX0r w00t w00t. He also does web design and created a free php portal system called iCFPS, which is on SourceForge.

Well, the webserver doesn’t work. And since Mac OS X was designed to be utterly flawless and idiotproof, there is no way to change any settings…woohoo…
And, the computer didnt burn the the ISO as an ISO. It just copied it to the disk, making so that I can’t boot from it.
Waaaah!

PHP: It stands for Pain-in-the-ass Hypertext Preprocessor. I went through 6 different hosts yesterday, and my simple ‘hello world’ test script wouldn’t work on ANY of them. It should not be that hard! (more…)
